Cathlink was founded on the idea that our faith is not just for Sundays but for everyday, not just in church but everywhere. Too often our world full of scandals in business attempts to teach us that money is ALL that matters. I ask you to ponder the question What can money buy?
A bed but not sleep.
Books but not knowledge.
Food but not appetite.
Finery but not beauty.
A house but not a home.
Medicine but not health.
Luxuries but not comfort.
Pleasures but not happiness.
A church but not faith.
We here at Cathlink believe in connecting our Catholic faith with our business life because our faith is something that we live. From the beginning of our meetings that start with Mass to the end of our meetings that close with a prayer we intertwine business relationships in a spiritual setting. Each month our guest speaker speaks of how God has shaped their professional lives.
In a world where "happy holidays" takes the place of Merry Christmas and "God Bless you" can be taken as offensive. At Cathlink we encourage you to wish Gods blessing on one another and to say Merry Christmas. Hearing stories of how lives have been blessed by God is not uncommon at our networking events. This isn't your typical "networking" meeting. Welcome to Cathlink! We believe in sharing faith and business.

Just remember these 3 easy steps - Registration then Celebration followed by the Cathlink Organization.
How it works: First, register for the event in the upper right hand corner under the words "Upcoming Event." Find the words "Click Subscribe to attend" and click on the word "Subscribe." You will then be asked to enter your name and email. If you are a Cathlink member (this means you have paid your yearly membership fee) then select "Cathlink Member Ticket" if you are not a Cathlink member select "Cathlink Non-Member Ticket." If you are a not a member you will then be taken to a screen to process payment for your Cathlink Ticket.
After registration you will receive an email verifying that you have a place reserved for you. When you arrive at the Cathlink event begin by checking in at the front desk. You will see the Cathlink sign and a city rep to greet you. Once in the meeting room there will be a table with Cathlink name tags for Members and Non-Members alike. Cathlink begins every meeting with a Mass celebrated by a local Fort Wayne Priest. After a wonderful start to our day we then enjoy a fresh breakfast. Orange juice, coffee, and water are always available along with warm pastries and fresh fruit.
The official networking begins with a variety of networking exercises designed to introduce and build connections with others attending the Cathlink event. For example, one meeting we may rotate every 5 min to network, and the next meeting we may form small groups of 5 people and exchange questions and answers about our business. Cathlink is brought to an end with a featured guest speaker. The speaker will connect their life experiences to a relationship with God. As our motto goes "Connecting faith and business" and that is how it works. |
